WebIn vanilla, the worst you come across is demos, but DF will go all the way to MUCH stronger units. The tactic is actually to avoid killing zombies in the beginning. The more you kill, the higher level you go, the harder they become, then you die. You need to get tons of loot to really climb above the power curve. WebMate - Darkness Falls is hard, the traders are vulnerable so i think you need a better plan. A base for crafting etc and storage in one location, then another 'killing base' nearby for horde nights. Taking on the horde is best for big XP and fat lootz, so its better not to hide.
