Relationship decay affects the performance mechanism called relationship culling, because relationships are culled based on their strength. Mod at your own risk. All (or nearly all anyhow) of the Sims 2 mods here have been updated to work with Apartment Life and Mansions & Gardens. They have all been tested in my games, but some not extensively.
